Our History

Birth of Tréca Paris in Reichshoffen (Alsace), created by M. Moritz, the only brand to sell spring mattresses in France.

In the midst of the Second World War, Tréca Paris manufactures mattresses for the French Army Medical Corps.

Introduction of Pullman suspension and birth of the Legendary Tréca Paris Air Spring® suspension. Tréca Paris patents its integral tufting. Launch of the revolutionary Imperial mattresses and adoption of strategy that all products will always be handmade to measure.

General De Gaulle visits the Tréca Paris factory who supplies the DS (French luxury car) car seats and calls it a National Treasure of French know how.

Launch of the first electrical adjustable bed base C.A.D. now called SUPERCAD, and the Omega® spring.

Launch of the decoration workshop: Tréca Paris is the first brand in the world to offer both sleeping systems (luxury mattresses), electric bed bases and headboards.

Creation of the first mattress topper, creating a new standard in the industry.

Launch of the current Imperial “Air Spring®” Prestige.

Launch of the Trecaflex Slat, generating 5 new products: Electric, fix, manual, box and Miniflex.

Creation of the asymmetrical suspension for PLATINUM sleeping system, introducing never seen before luxury raw materials.

First collaboration with a designer: Chantal Thomass haute couture collection.
