Tips for Cleaning Your Bed
Beyond the mattress itself, it is important to care for your bedroom environment.
-
Clean your duvet and pillows regularly: Simply shake them out and air them well. If the duvet is aired frequently, it only needs to be washed once a year.
-
Wash your bed linen: Every two to three weeks at 60°C. For people who sweat a lot or bring strong odors from work, it is recommended to wash sheets once a week.
-
Clean the mattress: See our tips below for removing dust and stains.
-
Don’t forget washable surfaces around your custom-made bed (dressers, bedside tables, lamps). Wipe them down weekly with a damp cloth. Dust mites also live under the bed, so vacuum underneath once a month, and avoid blocking air circulation by overloading it with storage;

How to Remove a Stain from a Mattress?

If you want to remove dust and prevent dust mites from spreading, use a soft brush to eliminate dust from the surface of the mattress and bed base.
If you need to remove a stain:
– Gently rub the stain with a dry, absorbent cloth. Avoid using a damp cloth as it could damage the filling of your custom-made bed.
– If the stain persists:
-
-
Step 1: Make a paste with white vinegar and baking soda, then apply it to the stained area. Let it dry.
-
Step 2: Use a soft brush or a dry absorbent cloth to clean the area.
-
Step 3: Repeat the process two more times. The stain and odors should disappear.
